Successes

When you spend decades working on a hobby and your list of things to still research grows longer every day, sometimes you need a little motivation to remind you of how far you've come.

Here's a listing of some of the Genealogy projects I'm most proud of having accomplished:

My Successes

  • Located Norwegian name and ancestral home of Bertha Olson, paternal great-great-grandmother
  • Determined birth parents of daughter-in-law’s great-grandmother
  • Completed research regarding grandparents of an adoptee
  • Expanded Stroh family tree by determining Christian Stroeh is the child of Magdelana Stroh Krabbenhoft's father
  • Determined names of 3x great-grandparents, parents of Margaret Peterson Untiedt

  • Incorporated DNA analytics with paper trails to prove genealogy connections which have expanded my family tree to more than 13,000 persons
Archivals
  • Shared digital copies of relevant photos with Rock County Historical Society of Minnesota
  • Scanned the family archives of Don Untiedt
Unusual connections
