Untiedt, Sr.'s (my great-grandfather) 1899 appointment as Postmaster for Kanaranzi, Minnesota; this legacy then led to the future appointment of two of his daughters, Harriet & Marcella (also included in the document below). Additionally, the following document shows Postmaster's Appointment for Luverne, Minnesota where Paul Sr.'s grandson, Wayne Untiedt took charge in 1965. A long history of ensuring "n either snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds".
